Allow for airport and city tickets

The 2026 Paris Region Airports rail ticket is €14 full fare each way. For two adults arriving and departing on that ticket, four journeys cost €56. City travel is additional. Bus 351 to or from Nation costs €2.05 under the Bus-Tram tariff, but any separate metro journey needs a rail ticket.

Compare the room for everyone

For two people, compare one private-room total with two dorm-bed totals for the same nights. For friends, a double bed may not be suitable even if the room is cheaper. JO&JOE Double XL has a double plus a single, while FIAP has a two-single twin. Four-person rooms differ again: The People Family Comfort and its shared-bath private dorm are different choices.

Choose meals you can use

JO&JOE’s Happy House has a fridge and microwave, not a guest hob or oven. FIAP prohibits outside food; a room’s breakfast or other meal coverage must come from the selected rate. St Christopher’s lists limited guest food equipment. Budget for the meal arrangement at the property you choose.

A Marais afternoon need not require a paid museum ticket: Carnavalet’s permanent collection is free. Montmartre’s basilica is also free, while the separate dome climb requires a contribution. Put paid visits in the budget only when you want those visits.
